What is a "cookie"?
A "cookie" is a small text file that a web server sends to the user's web browser and asks for your permission to store it on your hard drive. Once you have given your consent for a "cookie" to be stored, the file is stored on your hard drive and the "cookie" then helps to analyse web traffic or to let you know when you visit a particular site. "Cookies" allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. A web application can tailor its actions to your needs, likes and dislikes by collecting and remembering information about your preferences.
How do we use "cookies"?
We use a "cookie" in web traffic logs to identify which websites are being used. This helps us to analyse web traffic data and improve our website according to users' needs. We only use this information for the purpose of analysing statistics, after which we delete all data from our system. In general, "cookies" help us to provide you with a better website by allowing us to keep track of which pages users find useful and which they do not. A "cookie" does not allow us to gain access to your computer or any data relating to you, other than those you have chosen to share with us. You have the option to accept or decline the "cookie". Most web browsers automatically accept "cookies", but you can set your browser to refuse "cookies". However, this may prevent you from getting the full user experience when visiting a website.

In addition to cookies from the e-commerce system, a number of trusted third party cookies are also embedded. This allows the user to share pages on social networks and display personalised and relevant advertising. Thus, these cookies allow the display of ads on, for example, various Google and Google partner companies or Facebook platforms. The use of these cookies does not involve the sharing of personal data.
